Spring has sprung in Hagley Park, Christchurch. A bit of colour to contrast the changing face of our city.

Taken deep in the Waitaki Valley in Southern Canterbury. Beyond the distant range the roads were becoming impassable but on this side the only weather to contend with was the howling southerly gale. I decided to use this to my advantage and let the foreground tussocks behave appropriately.

The main street in the old gold mining town of Arrowtown near Queenstown, New Zealand. The town lights up in beautiful hues of orange and red for a very short time in early autumn.

Another one from the new infrared converted camera. Punting on the Avon River in Christchurch. Certainly a learning curve shooting in IR but Im looking forward to using it over the summer months. Its nice to have a photography project when the sun is high and not ideal for traditional photography.

The beautiful 'old' QEII cruises out of the Lyttelton heads. Something quite nice about the old traditional cruise ships as opposed to the floating cities.
